I had a mixed experience at the Karuizawa Prince Hotel East. The location was fantastic, right next to the ski lifts and premium outlet stores, making it ideal for shopping and skiing. However, I struggled with breakfast reservations, as popular time slots were fully booked. Additionally, the service was inconsistent at times, which detracted from my overall stay.
